Reykjavik Excursions take part in Iceland Airwaves

Iceland Airwaves – Blue Lagoon

The annual Iceland Airwaves music festival started yesterday in one of Reykjavík´s swimming pools. This venue was chosen carefully and there were loudspeakers in the water as well as on the walls. Until Sunday concerts can be heard all over town –  the tickets are sold out and there will be over 250 bands and groups playing, making the whole affair an exciting and much sought after adventure. Many of the bands have curious names like Æla (Vomit), Varsjárbandalagið (The Warshaw Pact), Neo Indian, Human Woman and so on. Reykjavik Excursions – Kynnisferdir offer a special tour for all who want to join to the Blue Lagoon on Saturday – it´s called Chill Out and we are very happy that more than 400 guests have already booked and paid for the tour – and there are more to come! DJ´s will blast their loudspeakers to the top at the Blue Lagoon and even a part of Iceland´s Symphony Orchestra will be there – weather permitting.
