EUROPART at Busworld in Kortrijk

From 17th-23rd October 2013, the leading European dealer for bus and commercial vehicle replacement parts was represented for the first time at the world’s largest bus fair “Busworld” in Kortrijk, Belgium. Numerous bus companies and major European customers visited the EUROPART stand in Hall 9. Already now, a half a year ago at the UITP exhibition in Geneva, EUROPART presented the theme of Total Cost of Ownership and how it can help bus companies by reducing their costs, thanks to its various service concepts. In addition, the new EUROPART bus competence brochure “Bus Favourites”, was presented which appears four times a year.

EUROPART sees the bus theme next to truck and trailer as an essential component in its parts range with great development potential. The membership in the worldwide association for support of public transport UITP (International Union of Public Transport) and as the representative of the main international bus companies GPN (Global Passenger Network) shows that it is in the large interest of the European parts dealer to establish an even stronger network in the bus area. Coming up on 29-30th October, EUROPART will attend the next GPN meeting in Luxembourg.

Key account manager for Europe in the bus area, Diana Rübsam was very satisfied with the bus exhibition in Kortrijk, which EUROPART also used to introduce the international bus experts of the respective EUROPART country subsidiaries with each other. Diana Rübsam affirms: “In the spirit of the new key account strategy we tackle the bus theme with a European focus: Although the popular bus types are very different per country, we can provide good service for our customers, of which many operate internationally, only with an internationally coordinated team. The newly formed team consisting of both long-standing and experienced EUROPART staff as well as recently added experts of the bus industry provides an excellent base to bring the bus division for EUROPART forward.”
