Following the re-opening of the travel and tourism industries, after 2 years, Global Passenger Network is present again in trade shows, helping its members make new connections and discuss strategies. GPN usually follows its traditional calendar of events where exhibits. In 2022, we decided to expand our presence, to enhance the brand awareness of our organization and our members. For this reason, this year we marked our first presence at the Arabian Travel Market 2022.
This event takes place every year in Dubai and its buyers & visitors are mostly from the Middle & Far East. However, this year, the event was hybrid. The in-person event took place in Dubai 9-12 May 2022 and the virtual event 17-18 May 2022.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the travel & tourism trade in these markets to get to know Global Passenger Network. We had the opportunity to explain to our visitors at the stand who we are and how we operate given our unique business model. We had great feedback, enabling our future partners and customers to have peace of mind when selecting a GPN member for their transportation requirements.
In regard to exhibiting at Arabian Travel Market 2022, Agnes Pastuszak, Chairman of GPN, said: “Following this very challenging period for the coach industry, we are happy to finally have the opportunity to exhibit in trade shows again and to feel how eager people are willing to meet in-person and re-start travelling. We are happy with the outcome of this trade show and plan to exhibit and attend more trade shows in various regions around the world in the future. We are already planning to attend IBTM Americas (24-25 August 2022 in Mexico), World Travel Market (7-9 November 2022 in London, UK) and IBTM World (29 November – 1 December 2022 in Barcelona, Spain). We are positive that this is the best way to enhance the awareness of Global Passenger Network around the world and attract more business for all the members of the network. 2022 will be a great year and 2023 we expect our figures to surpass the pre-Covid figures.”
