As you may have heard, Strömma Denmark has run a special “One Direction” Fan Tour in one of their open top buses. Below you can see the official fan video that was launched to several million fans last Saturday on 1Day (November 23rd). The video was shown in more than 45 countries.

From November 15th to December 1st Vikingbus has run a sightseeing tour ”One Direction – Danish Fan Tour”. During the 45-minutes tour, the fans, who have bought a ticket from their website or from their personnel, drove by the Little Mermaid, Rosenborg Castle, the Black Diamond and Amalienborg Castle in the special 1D bus. As you can see from the video the bus was decorated with streamers on the outside and posters, flags, balloons etc. inside the bus. What was most interesting for the fans were the real size carton figures of the 5 band members. They all wanted their picture taken with their favorite band member.
Fans who joined the sightseeing tour were given a ticket with a special ID no. Within the next couple of weeks there will be a draw between these tickets and the winners will win different merchandise, but the main prize is a Meet & Greet with the band members when they are visiting Copenhagen in June 2014.
The One Direction – Danish Fan Tour was market in promoted on social media for example One Direction Denmarks Facebook site which has more than 2 mio. likes and approximately 250.000 are talking about the 1D profile.
