VDL Bus & Coach takes over VDL Bus Danmark

On the 21 June 2012 VDL Bus & Coach has taken over all shares of VDL Bus Danmark A/S. With this takeover, VDL Bus & Coach recognises the importance of the Danish market and the Danish customers. John Lausen is continuing as Managing Director with his present team. VDL Bus & Coach is convinced that, under his expert leadership, sales and after sales activities will be further expanded and optimised. As a 100% subsidiary the new name of this branch will be VDL Bus & Coach Danmark A/S.

LONG HISTORY

Sales of VDL products go back for a long time. Products from the previous VDL brands Jonckheere and BOVA are well known in Denmark since the eighties. In 2004 Jonckheere Danmark A/S was founded. In 2005 the name changed to VDL Bus Danmark A/S.

In only 5 years VDL Bus Danmark delivered 300 vehicles including the 100th Ambassador. The milestone of the 100th Ambassador was reached in only 3 years time. This sets high expectations for its successor the Citea LLE.

SUCCESSFUL FUTURE
