Hansabuss Opens First Dedicated Bus Route Between TALLINN AIRPORT and CITY CENTRE
On 25 May, we opened a new bus route (number 90K) that takes tourists and local people from Tallinn Airport to the city center. Buses depart from the airport every thirty minutes between 8:00 and 18:00. The bus service is operated by Hansabuss, in cooperation with Tallinn Airport and Estonian Air. The buses feature a special plane symbol and, unlike regular buses, offer room for luggage as well. The bus fare is very affordable, costing 2 euros per ticket. “With the new bus service, we want to make life much more comfortable for tourists and local people,” said Neeme Tammis, chairman of the management board of Hansabuss. “The buses have a city map with the stops, and offer free wireless internet and plenty of room for luggage. The new buses have an easily recognisable appearance, featuring a large plane image. The bus route includes 11 stops in total, and travels along the following route: airport – coach station – Hotel Olümpia – Vabaduse Väljak square – Mere pst – train station – Hotel Tallinn – Vabaduse Väljak square – Academy of Arts – coach station – airport.” For more information about the airport bus connection, please visit our homepage HERE. http://www.hansabuss.ee/index.php?page=246& The bus route includes 15 stops in total, and travels along the following route: Airport – Ülemiste Hotel – Central Bus Station – Hotel Olümpia – Freedon Square – Viru Square – Mere pst – Tallinn2011 Culture Kilometre – Central Railway Station – Hotel Tallinn – Freedom Square – Academy of Arts – Central Bus Station – Ülemiste Hotel – Airport.”
