Blaguss Continues With a New Bus Generation of SETRA in The Future.
Blaguss takes the first buses of Comfort Class 500 and signes a general agreement for 100 buses.
Vienna, June 20113 / New buses with new corporate design. True to the motto “Travel your dreams” the Vienna bus company “Blaguss” underpins with the S 515 HD to its high claim to exclusive and innovative coaches and led a generational change in its fleet and became the first car from the new Setra Comfort Class 500.
The luxury bus is part of a framework agreement with a total of 100 buses from the new Setra bus generation, to be delivered by 2015 – and thus also the largest order of buses Comfort Class 500 in Europe.
“This major contract is a leap of faith that only the Setra brand of us gets” assured CEO Thomas Blaguss at the handover ceremony in EvoBus Service Centre Wiener Neudorf: “The concept of Setra Comfort Class 500 is in our eyes a thoroughly successful combination of environmental – security and technology, economy and modern design and can meet our requirements to 100 percent.”
Travelling across Europe
The jubilee bus Comfort Class 500 is used on the long-distance lines as well as in European travel of the traditional Burgenland family business. Guests can settle back on 49 comfortable touring seats with footrests, armrests, leather headboards and refresh with snacks and drinks from the galley. A removable top part of the toilet creates the necessary room for two more passenger seats, extended seat pedestals room for even more freedom of movement of passengers legroom with an added
convenience for travelers. Pure entertainment and information guarantees the multimedia system DVD player, ipod and iphone connection and free wireless connection. With the equipment in the S 515 HD Blaguss proved an eye for detail. With a charging inverter operating in the state or even while driving 220V connectors for charging electronic devices of all kinds are available.

With the pioneering series Setra Comfort Class 500 sets new benchmarks in efficiency, quality, comfort and safety. The new premium coaches convince a flowoptimized shape that was developed into a comprehensive process in a wind tunnel.
In addition, a hybrid lightweight construction concept, which guarantees even more strength with significantly less weight, and an intelligent consumption and energy management make the new Setra coaches at attractive value-added vehicles. The coming into force in 2014 Euro VI emissions standard for new vehicles as well as numerous other safety regulations and legislation in the coming years meets the Comfort Class 500 already today.
