Take mobile distribution as a case in point – i.e. marketing, distribution and sales direct to current and potential customers via out-of-house sales staff and by lay salespeople (e.g. Tupperware parties). There are many exciting possibilities lying under the surface here for suppliers to get actively and creatively involved in engaging and supporting regional German coach companies in promoting and co-selling destinations and services with partner travel agencies. Mobile distribution could, indeed, offer a new lease of life to destinations and supplier sales support for the coach tourism sector, for sales not only to individuals but also to all-important clubs and associations.
