“We have currently 45 VDL buses in operation and 30 city buses. VDL has always focused on environmentally friendly vehicles which are unusually lightweight and fuel efficient. Today VDL is in a leading position regarding manufacturing electric buses which are being used throughout Europe. Those vehicles have been driven approximately 15 million kilometres. VDL offers a wide selection of electric vehicles which hopefully will soon be visible on the streets in Reykjavík“, says Reykjavik Excursions CEO, Björn Ragnarsson and then adds that it was a pleasant stepping stone that delivery of bus number 100 took place in Eindoven.
